REVOLT

Partner Activity: REVOLT decided last year to commit to a radical transition to bring sustainable mobility forward. In 2030, the company wants to make energy available for sustainable mobility anytime and anywhere, with its remarkable charging network. In a world where ownership is no longer the most important thing, but sustainability and convenience.

Our contribution: At the start of 2021, Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin had 4 electric charging stations. This has been expanded to 16 charging stations in the summer of 2021.

Electric cars

All the cars of the hotel will be replaced in phases with fully electric cars.

Our Contribution: Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin has 7 cars, all of which are gradually being replaced by electric cars.

Hotel For Trees

Partner Activity: Hotels For Trees was founded in May 2021. It contributes directly to a greener hotel world. A hotel world in which one new tree is planted each time a guest chooses to skip the daily room cleaning.

Our contribution: In cooperation with Hotels For Trees, Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin planted already 300 trees at the end of 2021, to compensate the CO2.

FLEETCOR

Partner Activity: FLEETCOR Clean Advantage® is an environmentally friendly program that gives Fleetcor users the benefit of offsetting the CO2 emissions of their fleets and vehicles. As part of the Clean Advantage®-program, FLEETCOR supports a variety of initatives across numerous projects that store CO2 locally and globally.

Our contribution: Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin has 8 cars and participates in the Fleetcor Clean Advantage Program, which means that every time they use petrol, the CO2 is offset by CO2  compensation projects. In the year 2017, we offset 5.34 tonnes of CO2.
