On the day of arrival you can check in from 15:30. If you wish to use the facilities and restaurants earlier, this is possible. You can leave your luggage with our Front Office employee.
On the day of departure you can check out until 11:00 AM. A late check-out may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.
€200 & €500 banknotes
Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin and its restaurants are obligated to pay an amount of €5 to the bank for each €200/ €500 note that is deposited. These costs will be charged to the guests directly. Furthermore, we are required to register the origin of the note by registering your name and ID number. This data is solely used for internal registration.
If you have inserted your Credit Card including an authorisation or a security deposit to guarantee your stay and costs, you can use an Express Check-out. To do this, you can place your room cards, including a cover with the room number, in the designated Express Check-Out Box at the Front Office desk. Your authorisation will then be converted into a payment. Should you have paid a deposit at the start of your stay, this will be refunded to the card that was used to make the payment.
As soon as payments and invoices have been processed by Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, you will receive your invoice by e-mail.
Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin has parking spaces on the parking deck and garage. If available, we offer parking spaces for €4 per hour. Hotel guests pay a maximum of €17.50 per day. Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin has 20 electric charging stations. You can use one of these for a fee of €0.52 per kWh. Once the car has been charged, the car must be parked in a different place.
Should you bring your own bicycles to enjoy the hotel’s surroundings, you can park them in the car park in the designated parking area.
Would you like to be conveniently picked up and/or brought to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS)? Or would you like to explore further surroundings outside Noordwijk, such as historic Leiden? Make use of our preferred supplier taxi service.

Hidden in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk aan Zee, you will find an oasis of serenity, MC Wellness. They immerse you in luxury with an extensive program of relaxing and effective treatments or body and face. Their goal? To make you feel like the best version of yourself, both internally and externally.
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, is the MC Health Centre, a place where you can relax. It features a sauna, swimming pool and children’s pool. You can also relax in the relaxation room. You can find the current opening hours here.
In the summer season, Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin offers hotel guests and members the possibility to reserve sunbeds. The hotel offers two locations with sunbeds: on the beach and at the Terrace Bar terrace. Hotel guests can always reserve a sunbed. Guest Card Members and Resident Card Members can reserve a sunbed from 8:00 on the day itself. It is not possible for passing visitors to reserve a sun bed.
Dogs are welcome in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. The surcharge for the first two dogs is €47.50 per night in the Charming, Charming Large and Historic Rooms. The surcharge in the Suites is €62.50 per night. You can find more information about your dog’s stay on this page.
Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is not only fun for the parents. For the children it is also a party! In the basement we have a special games, where the children can play with. If the weather allows it, there are various attributes available for the children to play with outside. These rooms are limited available.
Noordwijk and its surroundings offer a diverse landscape. From the dunes, roads lead through the woods, past the bulb fields and a stop in Historical Leiden. Our concierges will be happy to put together a beautiful tour for you or get inspired by the routes in Nationaal Park Hollands Duin.

Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is happy to accommodate disabled guests. There is one charming large landside room and one suite landside wheelchair accessible, a disabled toilet on the first floor and an elevator can be used. All restaurants are also wheelchair accessible*.
*To reach Breakers Beach House, you can use the Shuttle service or via the wheelchair accessible way.
Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and cash are accepted in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin and its restaurants. Personal cheques are not accepted.

The hotel uses a credit card authorisation during check-in. An amount is authorised on your credit card. This serves as a guarantee for the duration of your stay. This offers you the possibility of having your expenditure charged to the “room account”. The actual settlement of your expenditure takes place at check-out via ditto credit card that we have authorised.
If you don’t have a credit card, it is possible to make a down payment by pin or cash. This means that on your day of arrival you will have to pay all the room nights, parking costs, tourist taxes and any extras, including a deposit of €100 per person per night. This also offers you the possibility to have your spending booked on the “room account”.

You may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before your arrival without any financial consequences unless you make a non-refundable reservation. If you cancel within 48 hours before arrival, we will charge you the 1st night of the reservation.
