Museum Engelandvaarders is where you can discover and experience the extraordinary stories of the Dutch sailors, who escaped from occupied Holland in World War II to join the Allied forces in England. Hundreds left in barely seaworthy boats , while others made arduous trips overland. Over 2,000 Dutch managed to reach England. The museum is localised in an old ammunition bunker. The collection and the audiovisual presentations will bring you back in the time of the Dutch sailors. Their personal stories will make you a participant of their experiences.

New in our museum is the Escape Game! With an ipad in hand, the visitors jong and old are able to experience the journey of the Dutch sailors. In the game you will join a resistance group who will help a Dutch sailor reach his goal.
