Official statement coronavirus

Dear guest,

Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin keeps track on the progress of the corona virus via the RIVM (the Dutch institute for Public Health and the Environment). They monitor the situation with international partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Center for Disease Protection and Control (ECDC) and provide information on new developments regarding the virus. For more information and updates please visit the website of the RIVM.

On Sunday March 15th, the Dutch government has decided that the hospitality industry, sports clubs and schools should close until Tuesday April 6th. Due to new government restrictions, we are forced to extend the closure of Brasserie La Terrasse, Breakers Beach House, Restaurant Latour, the Van Diepeningen Lounge, the MC Wellness Centre and the Health Centre until Tuesday April 28th. We are open for overnight stays. However we only serve room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For any existing reservations through April 28th, we will reach out to you. We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you back soon in one of our outlets. Stay safe!

Kind regards,

Stephan Stokkermans
Managing Director
